A Simple Try in SPSS 17

SPSS is a famous statistic analysis software just like Eview and SAS. Nowadays SPSS has made a rapid progress in applying, which can be inferred from the version number. I am interested in statistic software so try to install SPSS and SAS with some simple tests. Now I'd love to share a little experience with you.
It has not been a long time since the latest version – v17.0 – was released. The best advantage in this version is that it contains multi-language packages include Chinese and the translation is in high quality. It also brings some video tutorials and samples which you can use to learn how to control this software by your self. To accumulate some experience, I follow this help and learn step by step to achieve something useful.
Maybe it is not very hard for me to learn this software because of my rich experience in computer. During my tests, the most important things I realized is that a good knowledge of database is essential especially the structure of the standard of database management system. It can be easily seen that SPSS 17 provides numerous ways of data analysis. You can just look at the picture below.
I am following the sample of the statistic from a survey of an area. A simple table which shows the percentages of each group and a line graph which indicates the relationship between Wireless use and PDA application are the achievement today.
